POSITION 1 - AUCKLAND

Basic Desktop and networking knowledge a must. A super enthusiastic, willing to learn approach is needed. Also the ability to communicate well in English is essential. You would be working as a desktop / network support technician using the cutting edge of technology. Based in Newmarket, we deliver solutions to primary and secondary schools nationwide. The objective of this job is to help provide support to our clients Networks, PC's, Printers, Projectors, Smart boards, Firewalls, Servers and IT infrastructure etc.
The successful applicants will ideally have a desire and the ability to provide great customer service, the ability to multi-task in a busy environment, and a friendly and personable manner. The applicant must be a self starter able to prioritise and communicate very well within the team and with the clients.
Technical experience in a Windows network environment from previous help desk or similar role is desired. POSITION 2 - AUCKLAND
Come and work in one of New Zealand’s best educational environments dealing with a wide range of technologies including the latest Microsoft Platforms, Varied third party applications including Symantec Endpoint protection, Citrix Presentation Server, VMware Virtualisation and line of business applications.
New Era IT is offering a position to an individual who meets all the following criteria. The position offered involves ongoing network support from end user and application support to desktop, server, switching infrastructure and documentation, network management, and also designing of our client networks for both tertiary and school clients.
Key Competencies, you must be able to;
We require a Senior Systems Engineer to be responsible as a subject matter expert for our network design and solutions supported by the senior technical support team.
You will to need be an excellent researcher and use your honed development skills on solutions we design and implement for our client’s.
You will be the Technical Lead for incidents and service requests, change approvals, problem management, service improvement, release management and training.
In this role you will work with other members in the operations team to implement new systems and upgrades offering your expertise to a multitude of critical areas for the business. You will have project management, goal setting and time management skills.
You will be a real team player with the ability to change the way you think to become an integral part in our team.
