It's been a while since we checked in with our road warrior. As always John has been extremely busy traveling the country popping into schools, exploring the technologies and learning techniques that help students develop the skills they need for tomorrow.
If your school is interested in learning about the creative ways of using Microsoft technology in your classroom please contact Gretchyn McLean at email@example.com
Here's a sneak peek into some of schools John has visited this past week.
Papatoetoe North School
During the break all computers were upgraded to Windows 8.1, this seminar acted as a workshop into the introduction of Windows 8 and Office 2013.
At the conclusion of this workshop teachers felt inspired to utilize Microsoft and confident in delivering these skills in their classroom.
St Dominics College
The second in a series of OneNote seminars, John explored the hints and tips associated with OneNote. it was also a great opportunity for those to share what they have been doing with OneNote.
Papatoetoe High School
Papatoetoe have been for a very long time a Google school, however they were wanting to have a feel of the benefits Microsoft applications can offer, especially around Office 365.
We had a very good demo and with emphasis on Student Advantage at no cost to the students. There was a strong indication that the school will now utilize Office 365, making this available to all students and staff"
John is able to tailor his sessions to the specific needs of your school so please don't hesitate to get in touch to utilize this free offer.
Travel safe John, we'll check in again soon.
